Pyunkang Yul Moisturizing Lip Balm Dancheong 2.8g

Pyunkang Yul Moisturizing Lip Balm Dancheong 2.8g is a compact, firm balm made for lips that dry out fast in cold wind, air conditioning, or everyday London weather. The texture glides on smooth rather than sticky, so it works just as well under makeup as it does on its own before bed. It is part of the Dancheong line, named after the traditional Korean decorative painting seen on temple beams and palace ceilings, and it carries that same idea of harmony and protection into a small everyday product. Built on Pyunkang Yul's 50 years of experience from the Pyunkang Oriental Medicine Clinic, this balm is dermatologically tested and made for lips that are dry, sensitive, or prone to chapping.

Why You'll Love It

• Firm yet smooth texture that glides on without pulling or dragging
• Leaves a natural, healthy-looking sheen instead of a greasy coating
• Formulated with avocado oil and shea butter for long-lasting comfort
• Rosehip seed oil helps support natural lip radiance over time
• Dermatologically tested and suitable for sensitive, easily chapped lips
• Small 2.8g size that fits easily in a pocket, bag or desk drawer

Key Ingredients

Avocado Oil and Shea Butter work together to hold moisture in the lip barrier for hours, so lips stay soft rather than tightening up again an hour after application. Rosehip Seed Oil is included to help support a naturally healthy-looking glow. Rose, Lotus and Lily extracts, alongside a mix of other gentle herbal ingredients, help soothe lips that feel raw or irritated from repeated licking, wind burn or dry indoor heating.

How to Use

Apply directly to lips whenever they feel dry or tight during the day. For deeper repair, smooth on a thicker layer before bed and let it work overnight while you sleep. It can also be worn underneath lipstick or gloss as a protective base. For a full hand and lip routine, pair it with Pyunkang Yul Hand Cream.

Suitable For

Dry, chapped or sensitive lips, and anyone who wants a fragrance-conscious, gentle balm for daily use. Suitable for adults and, given its mild formulation, often chosen for teens as well.

About Brand: Pyunkang Yul

Pyunkang Yul was created by the Pyunkang Oriental Medicine Clinic, a Korean clinic with roughly five decades of experience treating skin and respiratory conditions. Rather than chasing trends, the brand focuses on simple formulas built around ingredients that support the skin's own balance of oil and moisture. Fragrance, dyes and unnecessary additives are kept to a minimum across the range, which is why Pyunkang Yul has become a staple for people with reactive or easily irritated skin.

FAQ

Q: Will this lip balm feel sticky or tacky?
Ans: No. The balm is made to feel firm on application but glide on smoothly, settling into a soft, non-sticky finish that does not pull at the lips.

Q: Can I wear this under lipstick or gloss?
Ans: Yes, it works well as a protective base layer under any lip colour and can help stop colour from settling into dry, flaky patches.

Q: Is it safe for very sensitive or reactive lips?
Ans: The formula has been dermatologically tested and avoids many common irritants, but as with any new product it is worth doing a small patch test first if you have a history of reactions.

Q: How long does the 2.8g size usually last?
Ans: With regular daily use, most people find a stick lasts several weeks, depending on how often it is reapplied.

Q: What makes this different from a normal drugstore lip balm?
Ans: The formula leans on avocado oil, shea butter and rosehip seed oil rather than mineral oil or petroleum-heavy bases, which is why it tends to feel lighter while still holding moisture through the day.
