Pyunkang Yul Mist Toner 100ml

Pyunkang Yul Mist Toner 100ml turns the brand's calming, hydrating approach into a fine facial spray that fits into a routine at any time of day. Rather than pouring product onto a cotton pad, this mist settles evenly across the skin with a light press of the nozzle, which makes it especially handy for reapplying over makeup or cooling the skin down after time in the sun or heating.

Why You'll Love It

• Fine, even mist that settles without pooling or dripping
• Built around Coptis Japonica Root Extract, prized in Korean traditional medicine for its cooling, calming effect
• Sodium Hyaluronate adds a lightweight hydration boost
• Easy to reapply throughout the day, even over makeup
• Short, simple ingredient list suited to reactive skin
• Works as a first toner step or a quick mid-day refresh

Key Ingredients

Coptis Japonica Root Extract is a plant long used in Korean traditional medicine to relieve excess internal heat and calm irritated, flushed skin, helping restore a more comfortable balance. Sodium Hyaluronate draws in moisture and helps the skin hold onto it, supporting a plumper, more hydrated look. Glycerin and Butylene Glycol reinforce this hydration without adding any heaviness to the fine mist texture.

How to Use

After cleansing, close your eyes and spray evenly across the face from a distance of about 20cm, then pat gently to help absorption. Reapply during the day whenever skin starts to feel dry, tight or overheated. On especially dry days, mist twice in a row before moving on to serum and moisturiser.

Suitable For

Dry, combination and sensitive skin, and anyone who wants a light, reapply-as-needed hydration step rather than a full pat-in toner routine.

About Brand: Pyunkang Yul

Pyunkang Yul was developed by the Pyunkang Oriental Medicine Clinic, which has spent roughly 50 years treating skin and respiratory conditions with a minimal-ingredient approach that looks at the skin and body together. The brand carries that same philosophy into skincare, favouring calming, well-studied extracts over trend-led formulas.

FAQ

Q: Can I use this mist over makeup during the day?
Ans: Yes, the fine spray is made to refresh the skin without disturbing makeup, making it useful for a midday hydration top-up.

Q: How is this different from the Essence Toner in the same range?
Ans: The Essence Toner is a concentrated, pat-in formula built on Astragalus root extract, while this Mist Toner uses a lighter, spray-based formula centred on Coptis root extract for quick, repeatable hydration throughout the day.

Q: Is this suitable for sensitive or reactive skin?
Ans: The short ingredient list and absence of fragrance make it a common choice for sensitive skin, though a patch test is always sensible when trying a new product.

Q: How close should I hold the bottle when spraying?
Ans: Around 20cm from the face works well, close enough to get even coverage without needing multiple sprays, but far enough to avoid direct contact with the eyes.

Q: Can this replace my regular toner step?
Ans: Yes, it can be used as a first-step toner after cleansing, or as an additional refresh layer alongside a pat-in toner, depending on how much hydration your skin needs that day.
