About this Product
Medicube Red Succinic Acid Serum 30ml is formulated specifically for troubled, blemish-prone skin, pairing Succinic Acid with Salicylic Acid, turmeric root extract and Holy Basil leaf extract. The aim is a serum that treats congestion and irritation without leaving skin feeling stripped or overly dry, which is often the trade-off with harsher blemish treatments.
Why You'll Love It
- Succinic Acid and Salicylic Acid work together on blemishes and congestion
- Turmeric Root Extract and Holy Basil Leaf Extract support a calmer complexion
- Niacinamide and Panthenol help balance the formula against dryness
- Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil and Ceramide NP support the skin barrier
- Neem-derived extracts add further clarifying support
- Built specifically for red, irritated or blemish-prone skin
Key Ingredients
Succinic Acid is included for its role in supporting clearer-looking, less congested skin. Salicylic Acid works alongside it to help address blemishes and unclog pores. Curcuma Longa (Turmeric) Root Extract and Ocimum Sanctum (Holy Basil) Leaf Extract bring traditional calming botanicals into the formula to help offset any irritation from the acid actives. Ceramide NP and Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil support the skin barrier so the serum treats blemishes without over-drying the skin.

How to Use
After cleansing and toning, apply a moderate amount of serum to the face, focusing on areas prone to blemishes, congestion or oiliness. Use morning and night as part of your routine. Because this serum contains Salicylic Acid, always follow with SPF in the morning to protect treated skin.
Suitable For
Oily, combination and blemish-prone skin, particularly skin that also shows redness or irritation alongside breakouts, since the formula pairs acid actives with calming botanicals rather than using acids alone.

FAQ
Q: Will this serum dry out my skin like other blemish treatments can?
Ans: The formula pairs Salicylic Acid with niacinamide, panthenol, ceramide and macadamia seed oil specifically to offset the drying effect that acid treatments can sometimes cause.
Q: Can I use this if my skin is both oily and easily irritated?
Ans: Yes, this is exactly the skin type the formula is for, combining blemish-focused acids with calming turmeric and holy basil extracts.
Q: Do I need sunscreen when using this serum?
Ans: Yes, daily SPF is important in the morning since the formula contains Salicylic Acid, which can increase sun sensitivity.
Q: How often should I apply this serum?
Ans: It can generally be used morning and night, though those new to Salicylic Acid may want to start with once daily and build up as their skin adjusts.
Q: Can this be used alongside other acne treatments?
Ans: It is best to introduce new acid-based products gradually and avoid stacking multiple strong actives at once, so check with a dermatologist if you are already using other targeted treatments.
