Mary & May Sensitive Soothing Gel Cream 100g

Ingredients and their roles

• Panthenol: A moisture-supporting ingredient that helps keep the skin feeling soft and comfortable during cosmetic care.
• Sodium hyaluronate: A salt of hyaluronic acid used for moisture retention, contributing to the formula's hydrating feel.
• Hyaluronic acid: A moisture-binding ingredient used in the water-based phase of hydrating cosmetic formulas.
• Hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid: A processed form of hyaluronic acid used as a humectant within the wider moisturising blend.
• Glycerin: A humectant that binds moisture, helping the formula maintain a hydrated feel without adding an oil layer.
• Heartleaf extract: A botanical conditioning ingredient also known as heartleaf, often highlighted in comfort-focused skincare.

Choosing your moisture layer

This Mary & May moisturiser is the finishing moisture step after lighter skincare. The amount can vary across the face: areas that feel tight may need a little more than the centre of the face. Begin with a thin, even application and judge the finish before adding another layer.

How to use

Apply a moderate amount and gently massage into the skin. Use in AM/PM

Smooth the cream gently over the face without repeatedly rubbing until the skin feels hot. Let it settle before makeup. In a morning routine, apply your dedicated sunscreen afterwards according to its directions, allowing each layer to spread evenly.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use it after a serum?

Yes. Apply this moisturiser after your lighter leave-on products. You can keep the routine to a few steps; there is no need to add a serum solely because you use a cream.

How much cream should I apply?

Start with enough of this moisturiser for a thin layer and adjust to comfort. Add a little more to dry areas instead of applying the same heavy layer everywhere.
