Product and option details

• Brand: Innisfree
• Product type: Makeup Primer
• Option: purple
• Size / pack stated: 30ml

Preparing an even base

This Innisfree makeup primer is a complexion-preparation step after skincare. Apply a thin layer to the areas where you want its visible effect, blending into the surrounding skin. Let the texture settle before deciding whether to add foundation or concealer.

How to use

Use it in the first stage of makeup after skincare. - After shaking it lightly before use, take an appropriate amount of the contents and apply it gently along the skin texture, and then pat it to finish.

Keep the amount controlled around the nose, hairline and other areas where several layers can collect. Pat on additional coverage gently. If the base rolls or pills, simplify the layers underneath and allow more time between skincare and makeup.

Formula and finish

• Jojoba seed oil: An emollient oil that helps the product glide and leaves the applied area feeling softer.
• Vitamin E: An antioxidant and conditioning ingredient used within the formula; its presence does not establish a clinical treatment effect.
• Dimethicone: A silicone that adds slip and helps the product spread into a smooth, even-feeling layer.
• Propanediol: A solvent and humectant used to support ingredient distribution and the product's application feel.
• Silica: A texture-modifying powder used to influence slip, absorption and the feel of the finished cosmetic.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need foundation on top?

That depends on the coverage you want. Check the effect of this makeup primer on its own, then add foundation or concealer only where you want more evening out.

Where does sunscreen go?

Use your dedicated sunscreen according to its directions before makeup preparation. Let it settle, then apply this makeup primer gently without repeatedly rubbing the protective layer.
