WAKEMAKE Water Velvet Cover Foundation 5 Shades 30ml

WAKEMAKE water velvet foundation sets down to a soft, velvet-like matte rather than the flat powder finish that heavier coverage often brings. Five shades are available in the 30ml bottle, and the formula leans on several forms of hyaluronic acid, hydrolyzed, sodium, potassium and cross-linked, to keep the base hydrated as it sets. Iron oxide pigments and titanium dioxide handle the actual coverage, working on redness and tone unevenness, while dimethicone-based silicones stop the finish from turning tacky by midday.

Why You'll Love It

• Full coverage that still moves with the skin, thanks to a hyaluronic acid complex running through several molecular weights.
• The velvet-matte set covers redness and blemish marks without looking cakey once it's blended out.
• Five shades give a reasonable spread for lighter to mid-tone skin, though very deep tones may want to check a swatch first.
• Silica and dimethicone crosspolymer help the finish resist transferring onto masks or collars through the day.

Key Ingredients

• Hyaluronic Acid Complex: multiple hyaluronate forms work to keep the coverage from feeling dry as it sets.
• Titanium Dioxide: a mineral pigment contributing to opacity and light coverage.
• Dimethicone Crosspolymer: supports a smoother, velvet-style finish rather than a shiny one.
• Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer: a longer-lasting hydration form used alongside the lighter hyaluronates.

How to Use

Apply a thin layer starting from the centre of the face, cheeks and forehead, and blend outward and downward toward the jawline. Build in thin passes over areas needing more coverage rather than applying one thick layer, since the velvet set can look patchy if it's rushed.

Suitable For

With a hydrating and smoothing skin-care effect, this suits combination to normal skin wanting genuine coverage without a flat, powdery look. It's a reasonable choice for anyone covering redness, blemish marks or tone unevenness who still wants the base to feel comfortable through a full day.
