About this Product
Plenty of creams sprinkle a little centella in and print cica on the label. The Medi-Peel Phyto Cica-Nol Cream 50g goes the other way: centella asiatica extract is the first ingredient, dosed at 613,921 ppm, which is over sixty percent of the entire formula. Madecassoside, asiaticoside, asiatic acid and madecassic acid, the four compounds that give centella its calming reputation, are all listed individually. Around them sit panthenol, niacinamide, camellia seed oil and a bed of fermented botanical extracts. For skin that runs hot, red or reactive, this is a serious tool rather than a trend.
Why You'll Love It
- Centella first, literally. Over 61 percent centella extract leads the formula, an unusually honest dose for a cica cream.
- All four cica compounds. Madecassoside, asiaticoside, asiatic acid and madecassic acid each appear on the list.
- Calms and brightens together. Niacinamide works on post irritation marks while the centella settles the redness itself.
Key Ingredients
- Centella Asiatica Extract 613,921 ppm: The backbone of the cream, calming visible redness and supporting a stronger barrier.
- Madecassoside and Asiaticoside: Centella's best studied compounds, listed individually in the formula.
- Panthenol: Softens and soothes, especially useful after exfoliation or retinol nights.
- Niacinamide: Helps fade the marks that irritation leaves behind.
